so i started sunday morning. just felt, lets go for it. read a ton of blogs, commented on as many as i could.
posted 7 articles over 2 days. mine are short and direct so no great feat. got a total of 200 hits. not sure if this is good or bad. it is what it is.
the one thing i see in all the blogs i read, there is no one touting the investment side. i seeĀ a vacuum that maybe i can fill.
also see some immediate business opportunities in that space.
in the meantime, i would love to develop a co-op blogging group. anyone interested, please email me investlike1percent AT gmail DOTCOM.

basically a group where we can all specialize. i am willing to sponsor large contests, i can get free webhosting and free seo.
I have never heard of this coop thing. I will definitely look into it. Thanks for mentioning it and congrats on starting your blog.
just bloggers working together for the greater common good. let me know if you are interested. hoping to get 7 solid bloggers to help each other.
I started reading your blog this past weekend after seeing your comments at Mr. Money Mustache (I think). Want some feedback? In my opinion, you need to work on your writing. I mean the basic stuff, like capitalization, punctuation, spelling, etc. It’s one thing to toss out quick ideas, but if you’re wanting to build readership…. well, let’s just say that, as a reader, it’s easier (and more pleasurable) to read something well-written and well-constructed.
rich,
thank you for taking the time to share your constructive criticism. i have all the excuses in the world, busy with businesses, 2 real estate flips, 2 new home builds, 3 year old daughter and my wife’s recent pregnancy and a new business acquisition target, but the truth is, i suck as a writer.
the entrepreneur in me, is focused on results. i think i can bring a unique perspective due to my past and ongoing dealings. in my normal course of life, i dont care too much for all the periphery issues nor the packaging. just rather get to the heart of the matter. that is no excuse though
i do want to meet some interesting people and a large following will just cast a wider net from which to build those new friendships. i honestly do appreciate the genuineness of your comment. i just started blogging and have a lot to learn.i will promise to try and at least proof read what i write for typos. capitalizations, um no. hard to teach an old dog, new tricks.
I like the direction you are taking with your blog. Far too many blogs that are about the basics of personal finance and not many about building wealth. Ill be following you. cheers
i suck as a writer and figure basic topics are better covered by other bloggers. hoping to share how i am making 100%+ returns.
speaking about turning over to better writers, care to write an article about automatic drip investing? love your site. i owned BP and sold it too soon.
Although I understand the importance of using correct grammar, punctuation, etc. I like how you get your point across and I am pleased with the information and knowledge you are providing. I myself read for content. Thanks…great blog you have here.
yoodi,
thank you for focusing on the content. i do try and make it short and to the point. still, this blog is making me write more than i ever did and feel its a great opportunity to improve those skills.
thank you for stopping by.
